Welcome to GridGo LLP. By renting an electric vehicle (EV) from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility & KYC Documents
Age & License: The rider must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Indian Driving License (if applicable to the specific EV model).
Verification: Riders must submit valid KYC documents (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, and local address proof) before the vehicle is handed over. GridGo LLP reserves the right to verify these documents.
2. Vehicle Responsibility & Usage
Primary Rider: The scooter must only be driven by the registered renter. Sub-renting or lending the vehicle to a third party is strictly prohibited.
Permitted Use: The EVs are intended for city commutes, last-mile logistics, and commercial deliveries. They must not be used for illegal activities, racing, or off-roading.
Load Limit: The maximum payload capacity (including the rider and cargo) must not exceed 150 kg to ensure battery life and vehicle safety.
Battery Care: The rider is responsible for safely charging the battery using only the GridGo-provided charger. The battery should not be exposed to extreme heat or submerged in water.
3. Payments, Deposits, & Late Fees
Rental Charges: All rental plans (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly) must be paid in advance.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of booking. This will be refunded upon the safe return of the vehicle.
Late Return Fee: Vehicles must be returned on or before the agreed-upon time. A late fee of ₹[Amount] per hour / day will be charged for delayed returns without prior notice.
4. Damage, Maintenance, & Theft
Routine Maintenance: GridGo LLP covers standard wear and tear. However, the rider must immediately report any mechanical or electrical issues.
Damages: Any physical damage to the scooter, battery, or charger due to negligence, accidents, or improper use will be the sole financial responsibility of the rider. The repair cost will be deducted from the security deposit or billed directly to the rider.
Theft or Loss: In the unfortunate event of vehicle theft, the rider must immediately notify GridGo LLP and file a First Information Report (FIR) at the nearest police station. The rider may be held liable for the loss if negligence is proven (e.g., keys left in the scooter).
5. Traffic Violations & Challans
The rider is 100% responsible for obeying all traffic laws. Any traffic fines, e-challans, or penalties incurred during the rental period will be borne entirely by the rider.
6. Termination of Agreement
GridGo LLP reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and retrieve the vehicle instantly if the rider is found violating any terms, misusing the vehicle, or defaulting on payments.
7. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
